Mr. MANICKAVASAGAM (AKA Mani)’s love for the Tamil language and passion for reading Tamil literature books prompted him to write explanations for Thirukkural in English and Tamil. He has written the book,Part 1: Virtue, very well, and it is easy to understand. His explanations were perfectly aligned with the original poem. Writing explanations for Thirukkural in Tamil itself is a very hard and challenging task, but he handled it well in Tamil and English. I am very impressed with his work and wish him good luck in his future endeavors.
